Corruption in the Sierra Leone Judiciary reflects badly on our country. I find it very hard to believe we can’t find real good Judges like Justice Mary Sey for our country. The likes of Magistrate Beneh Kamara make the court system a big joke.

This report clearly demonstrate the incredible problems we have in Sierra Leone. It doesn’t take a genius to see that the parliamentarians, who we expect should be setting a good example, are just not responsible enough to know that as law makers they must respect and obey the law they make. They are so arrogant to go on to “openly challenge the position of the Speaker” because he will not condone blatant lawbreaking.
This particular MP was caught “driving an unregistered and unlicensed vehicle”. Despite being enlightened, given good advice and told the truth by the Honourable Speaker of Parliament, we hear that he was joined by other dishonourable MPs who then tried to “impeach” the principled Speaker upholding the dignity of Parliament.
These disgraceful MP’s have shown themselves to have no shame, unfit and not proper people to be law makers.
The public already know that individuals who break the law with impunity often call on politicians to interfere with the legal process of our nation.
